Core acquired our first landholding in the Bynoe pegmatite field in 2016 and made the first discovery at Finniss shortly after at the Grant’s deposit. In mid-2017, we published Finniss’ maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.
In less than six years since the maiden Mineral Resource, Core advanced Finniss through a Final Investment Decision, and commenced mining at the Grants pit, completed construction of the operations plant and commenced production of spodumene concentrate. BP33 early works were suspended in late 2023. Mining at Grants was suspended in January 2024 and processing in mid-2024, with all infrastructure placed on care and maintenance for any potential restart.
Information about Resources and Reserves for the Finniss Lithium Operation are available on the Resources and Reserves page.
